Nominations 101

So you wanna give someone credit, or you wanna put your own name in the hat...

STEP 1: Make it official!

Read through the Award Descriptions on the Nomination Submission Form, and select up to three categories! The individual or tech company must be based in Greater Victoria and be a VIATEC Member in good standing. Not sure if they are? Contact info@viatec.ca. Nominations close April 1, 2019 at 4pm.

STEP 2: Make your case

Once you've been nominated, you must fill out the Supporting Info Survey by April 5, 2019 at 4pm. The contents of this survey are what the judges look at when determining the recipients, so make sure you try your best! If you are nominated in multiple categories: You only need to fill the survey out once, but check off all categories that apply and make sure you elaborate why you deserve each one specifically! If you are nominated for Employer of the Year, 70% of your staff must fill out an additional staff survey in order to qualify. Results are not shared. The Supporting Info and the Staff Surveys close April 5, 2019 at 4pm.

STEP 3: Hold tight & save the date!

Once you've completed steps 1 and 2, you can sit back, place a hold on June 14, 2019 for the VIATEC Awards gala and wait! Finalists will be announced in May and you will be contacted directly should you impress the judges!
